CULINARY CLASS PARTICIPANT WAIVER
This agreement contains a waiver of claims based on negligence
The Kitchen Workshop, Inc. is dedicated to culinary education and is proud to have an outstanding facility that showcases great chefs/instructors and their cuisines. Our classes are intended for your education and enjoyment. They are conducted under the direction and supervision of professional instructors and may be either demonstration or hands-on classes, at our discretion. Your participation is strictly voluntary and does not constitute employment.
Because culinary activities can present risks, The Kitchen Workshop, Inc. depends on you to use your good judgment and reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of others. Please follow the directions of the chef or staff member carefully. If you have any questions, whatsoever, about your ability to safely follow any instructions you are given, please immediately alert the chef or a staff member.
In consideration for your participation in any activity at The Kitchen Workshop, you agree and understand that your participation is voluntary and you assume the risks associated with the culinary activity in which you will be participating. Such risks may include, but are not limited to, the risk of physical injury or harm. You further agree to indemnify, save and hold harmless The Kitchen Workshop, Inc. from any and all claims arising out of an injury, disability, or death resulting from your participation in culinary classes. This waiver specifically includes any claims made by you arising from the alleged negligent acts of The Kitchen Workshop, Inc., its employees, agents and any related parent and/or subsidiary entities. This contract covers yourself and any minor children you bring with you to a class.

Full payment must be made at time of registration. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Checks and Cash.
If in the rare instance that a class does not have enough participants, The Kitchen Workshop will usually reschedule that class and either refund a registered person’s money for that class or apply it to a future class.
Cancellations: Classes may be canceled or rescheduled due to bad weather or when registrations are fewer than the minimum required. If a class is canceled we will do our best to notify you at the phone number or email you provided at the time of registration. We will also attempt to update our phone message and web site in such cases. If bad weather is upon us or predicted, we suggest you call before coming to class. When The Kitchen Workshop cancels a class your tuition and fees will be refunded in full.
